Background

Nadine always knew she wanted to become a counselor. When working for Oakland County Community Corrections, she felt inspired to work especially with young people. She wanted to utilize early intervention to help kids stay on the right track.  She wants to prevent kids from doing something or becoming someone where the courts would have to become involved.

While working as a Catholic school counselor for K-8, Nadine found an affinity with children who are challenged with ADHD and ADD.  She has a gift with empowering these children with habits, routines, and confidence to successfully navigate school homework, planning, and organization.

When it comes to her Catholic faith, one of Nadine’s mottos is “you don’t know you need your faith until you need it! You may not call on it every day, but it’s always there for you to lean in to.” Her belief in God and a power much bigger than oneself has helped Nadine through many challenging experiences and tough moments in her life. Additionally, it has helped her understand that while life can be unfair at times, it is still very beautiful. Nadine is ready to work with all clients, no matter where they feel they are with their faith or how they feel about God. Even those who may be questioning - of anything. Believing we all have our own unique cross to bear, Nadine is prepared to meet all people where they are and walk with them on a successful healing journey.
