Background

Pamela likes to share about her life's journey as "taking the long way home."  Not only coming full circle back to her Catholic faith, but as a thriving survivor of life's less-than-savory struggles; a broken nuclear family,  shattered family relationships, infertility, raging co-dependency, and loss.  "I am passionate about sharing the good news of joy, hope, and peace!  God is so good and my cup runneth over!"

Pam has spent 32 years as a successful entrepreneur, and the past 14 years in private practice as a Professional Mental Health Counselor.  Her business acumen allows her to offer business and executive coaching as well. Pam has helped prepare hundreds of engaged couples for marriage for Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Parish since 2009.  She has been a referred Catholic counselor for Catholic schools, parishes, priests, the archdiocese, annulment stipulations, and Marriage and Family ministries.

She attributes her Catholic Theology studies while at St. Mary's College Ave Maria with her commitment to offering faith based mental health services as her dream. She spent many years in and around the 12-step recovery world in Southern California and credits these guidelines for living as the basis for all her counseling successful outcomes.  "If I could  'get off the couch'  during my darkest times, as my friends lovingly tease, surely, anyone else coming from a place of feeling lost, alone, ill-equipped, and despondent, can scrounge up perseverance as well."

Pam wanted to be sure the "proof was in the pudding" and live out many abundant years to prove to herself her learned therapeutic skills, behaviors, and beliefs had prevailed as the secret to her success. Now, Pam just wants to share the good news! "I believe it is my charism to relate to just about any client who walks in, all my life experiences, trials, tribulations, and triumphs matter. They've helped me come full circle, and provide with God's grace and guidance, a safe, non-judgmental, comfy space to pass on all that is hopeful, healthy, and healing for those willing to take a leap of faith.
